Hello,

first of all, congratulations for the release of the 0.6
version of Cherokee.

I have a couple of questions:

* How do you enable the ~user directories ?
* How can I enable mailman ?

In version 0.5.3 I added the next line to the default
vserver:

Directory /mailman {
    DocumentRoot /var/lib/mailman/cgi-bin/
    Handler cgi {
         ErrorHandler on
    }
}

Directory  /pipermail {
    DocumentRoot /var/lib/mailman/archives/public/
    Handler common
}

Do I have to create a vserver to 0.6 ?

* How can I make Joomla to work in a vserver?

In version 0.5.3 it was something like:

Directory / {
      Handler common
}

Extension php, php3, php4, php5 {
       Handler phpcgi
}

Thanks and regards,
Sergio Cuellar

It is the same thing that you used to do with 0.5 but not
you only
need to run cherokee-admin and use your web browser to
connect to http://localhost:9090/
.

The new configuration interface will allow you to configure
it without
any trouble. Configuring Mailman with cherokee-admin is
really
straight forward.

However, ~user directories are not supported by the
interface in
0.6.0. It will be implemented in the next minor release,
0.6.1.

Same thing. Use cherokee-admin, it is easier.

By the way, it would be great if you could let us know how
it goes
with cherokee-admin.

Hi,
~ When I try to surf on a directory inside my web like
www.mydomain.com/dir it is redirected to a search page but
not mine. This doesn't happen if I put
www.mydomain.com/dir/
with a final slash. This thing start to happen when I
upgraded
my cherokee-devel port (I use freebsd 7.0) to the last
release
(0.6.0 no beta) (I had 0.6.0beta before upgrading the
port).
