Cherokee 0.7.0 "Land Shark"

Cherokee is a very fast, flexible and easy to configure Web
Server.
It supports the widespread technologies nowadays: FastCGI,
SCGI, PHP,
CGI, TLS and SSL encrypted connections, Virtual hosts,
Authentication,
on the fly encoding, Apache compatible log files, and much
more.
Cherokee also provides an easy to use configuration
interface that
allows to configure the server from top to bottom without
having to
edit a text configuration file.

This list summarises the main changes since Cherokee 0.6.0:
Cherokee:
- Completely new rule based behavior subsystem.
- New Mime types configuration mechanism.
- Added rule inheritance: final and non-final rules.
- Added new rule types: 'headers' and 'default'.
- A few bug have been fixed in the "Only Listing"
handler.
- Compilation process have been cleaned up.
- Improved PAM detection, mainly on BSD systems.
- Many minor bugs have been fixed.
- The Man pages have been updated.
- Added support for long parameter in all the binaries.
- New QA tests.
- 06to07.py script: updates old configuration files.
- Now behavior rules are not required to set a handler.
- Added sendfile() support on MacOS X.
Cherokee-admin:
- Many GUI issues have been fixed.
- A new and improved Mime type page has been integrated.
- The behavior rule list has been completely rewritten.
- Content relocation for the new layout.
- Added support for Personal web directories (AKA
public_html).
- Now chroot configuration validations work as expected.
