eim item record createdOn field

morgen, why do we have a createdOn field in the eim item
record but no
similar field for last modification date?

No reason other than Chandler hasn't made use of an item's
last- 
modified date so far (it's not in the Chandler domain
model).  We can  
certainly add it if Cosmo finds it useful.

It (lastModified) is currently in the domain model, but is
unused.  
This is also the case for lastModifiedBy (a Contact, but
probably an  
email addy would do). In the edit/update workflows being
contemplated  
for Preview on the design list(*), we would also need to
know what  
kind of modification the last mod was:
created/edited/updated/sent.

Ah, you're right -- I looked at a random item in my
repository and  
didn't see a lastModified attribute there, but yes it's in
the schema.
