right on! i'd be happy to see this make it into preview.
what do others think?

exist first,
so we'll overcome that barrier for them.

I think that it makes sense to try to get this into 0.7.   
I think  
that having you and Randy do a code review is the next step
towards  
making that happen.    I'd like to be sure that if we get to
the  
table view in 0.7 that CardDAV items can appear in the
detail view.

and conversely that items stamped as tasks are exposed as
vcards
through carddav.
