Here's the summary of the activity on cosmo-dev for the week
of
August 5, 2007.

New threads:
-------

Bobby Rullo summarized some issues with "This and
Future" changes to
recurring events. He proposed adding a new type of atom
request in
the server as a way of solving the most important of these
issues.
+ The rest of the thread discussion dealt with the details
of
implementing a server side solution

around 20
bugs remaining

004423.html>

Randy Letness found another issue with items in multiple
collections,
where deleted items might re-appear after a sync.
+ It was decided to note this in the release notes

Ted Leung made a proposal to defer some performance related
bugs
+ There was some concern about bug 10094, but otherwise
people
agreed. Some of the scheduled performance work might also
improve
10094, which might be enough to cover the concerns

Matthew Eernisse had some comments about changes from the
last round
of copy editing, particularly case conventions and missing
pipe
separators between items.
+ The missing pipe separators was intentional to imply
grouping.
Mimi Yin was to describe the correct case conventions for
the app
+ These changes also broke some of the Windmill automated
tests.
