Hmm, this did work, but then I was only able to run MOL
once...
networking didn't work, it didn't shut down cleanly, and
when I
killed it and tried to run it again, it just hung
indefinitely on the
startup screen (which, as you say, had no penguin or boot
progress
bar) :/
