Imap sort function

Hi,

	i would like to get messages from server in sorted form
using Imap. I
have found some information on google about sort functions
but these are
not supported by SM. Does anybody know which  command can be
used to get
list of IDs or messages from server in sorted form by
Subject or Sender
etc.  I prepare Webmail which can't load list of thousand
headers to be
sorted localy.

Does anybody know how to do it?
