Dlist is awful

Hi,

I wonder if anyone else is having the same problems with
Dlist that I  
am.
Basically, Dlist takes FOREVER to send messages. I mean
many, many,  
hours.
And a lot of times it won't send anything until I kill
surgemail and  
restart.
This is a serious problem and will probably lead me to lose
customers  
if it
continues. It's been like this for a while. It seemed fine
until someone
turned on archiving and ended up with 100,000+ messages in
the archive
folder. This naturally caused major problems. I ended up
cleaning all  
that
up, but since than two things have been happening.

1) Dlist takes FOREVER to deliver.

2) For some reason, the list that had the archive problem
somehow  
gets some
of it's messages randomly sent to another list on the
server.

I think basically Dlist got royally screwed up during during
that  
issue with
the large archive and I can't figure out for the life of me
how to  
get things
back in order.

Is it possible to use Surgemail without Dlist? If so I'd
like to use  
mailman
or something else more reliable.
