Hi,

We're having a bit of trouble with folders that were created
in Webmail not showing up in Thunderbird (using IMAP).

When a folder (and sub-folders) are created in Webmail they
are viewable within Webmail, as are folders created in a
Thunderbird client. I can't see how to make the Webmail
created folders appear in Thunderbird.

I've checked the Folder Settings in the *WebMail Management
Interface and all looks OK?!*

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and know of a fix?

*WebMail v3.1r
*SurgeMail Linux 3.7b-1 Feb 24 2006
Thunderbird 1.0.7 and 1.5.0.8

I've seen this happen before. Go to File -> Subscribe and
click the box
next to the folders. Then they'll show up.

Hi,

folder created in WebMail have to be subscribed within
Thunderbird.
Right click into your account in Thunderbird to access a
contextual menu, then choose
subscribe. The rest is self-explanatory.

Thanks to both Russ and Klaus for your help. As you both
suggested,
"Subscribing" to the Webmail created folders
allows you to "see" them in
Thunderbird.

Thanks again,

Geoffrey
