I am enabling a
requirement that all outgoing emails to my server require authentication
including the local ip address. (some smart virus got us listed) I am seeing
problems with people who use e-mail accounts from other domains while trying to
send the message from Surgemail. I have configured their account to log on using
a valid local account on the outgoing server yet my logs are still showing SMTP
auth issues. This seems to be only effecting those people using a different
email address than one that is hosted on the server. Is there a setting I am
missing?
