I recently added a new domain to my mail server. In the
initial preparation I started using mail.newdomain.com in the set-up
just to get it showing up and then before the switch over I changed it
newdomain.com in the domain setup. It now displays properly in the
administrative pages as newdomain.com
After changing the DNS pointings to my mail server, we are
receiving emails but when users go into the webmail interface instead of logging
on as user newdomain.com">user newdomain.com the interface
shows user mail.newdomain.com">user mail.newdomain.com and
the login fails with this message "Username/Password Failure (A0001 NO LOGIN
failed)"
I cannot find a place to change that webmail settings. All
my other domains show up correctly (without any reference to
mail.theirdomain.com). The email works when using a client like Outlook Express
so I know the settings are correct but I would like to get the webmail piece
fixed. I am using Version: Windows 3.0c2-2 (I know - I should update but when
things are running smoothly...) Thanks in advance for any help.
