kind of like watching hot dogs being made
;)
Nope, not using DomainKeys here yet. It's not an
issue at this point.
There are insecure Yahoo Groups that allow anyone to join
the group & post. Those groups are sending spams out. When the
emails arrive here they are filtered using Friends or a custom-built
filter.
Our customers don't appreciate the anti-spam protections
that Surgemail offers as much as the administrators do.
I appreciate having customers who don't receive the really
flaky spams and whose identities dont get stolen.
The only gripe we get now & then is when a .org is
using the same MX server as a .k12.pa.us domain, and the whole thing is hosted
at BCIU.Org - which is a mis-match between sender's email address, PTR of the IP
address and the server's Helo.
Some get classified as a SPF Rejection while others are
issued a Friends-Challenge.
Once I show the sender and receiver the details and
whitelist the sender, our customers appreciate it but few really understand
it.

Subject: [SurgeMail List] anyone filtering on
Domainkeys?
Just curious if
anyone is filtering or scoring spam based on Domainkeys yet, or if the general
consensus is just to sign outgoing emails.
And if you are
filtering, what's the effectiveness.
Thanks,
