All though I've been having problems related to this very
subject I am
reporting a "new" issue.

It seems that there is no error checking or validation of
legitimate values
for quota's being done.

I have given my helpdesk the ability to change quota's.
Looking though the
nwauth.txt and add files I've discovered a number of
anomalies. It seems
that the form accepts any value typed into it.

I've just finished writing a script to correct the problems
so I won't need
anything from you but I thought I'd bring it to your
attention so you can
add value validation to the admin interface. Especially when
that can be
delegated out to someone else...

Some examples of quotas I'm finding:
20=5mb which gets displayed as 20MB
25mg which gets displayed as 25GB

Mostly they are typo's which the admin interface usage
section translates
into GB when the "intended" value was MB but got
entered as mg. Perhaps
having only a numeric value in the field with the bytes
controlled via a
radio button beside it would be enough to correct this from
happening.

Hi all –

I’ve been searching for answers on what to do about this problem.  As you see below, this is an error message that someone else receives when trying to send mail to my domain, which is using surgemail.  A few notes to clarify the situation: they can receive mail from us but we don’t receive mail from them (even though they have no trouble sending to other domains).

These messages get stuck in their email queue.  We do not have an SPF record yet.

What can you tell from the error messages that they are receiving?

Is Surgemail rejecting them?

Thanks,

Brendan
