Surge Crashing - mass email related?

Has anybody noticed - (Windows 2003, 3.8f3-3 version) when you do a mass emailing - say over 500 recipients. That Surge crashes repeatedly? We had it happen last night, and I just had it happen again when a user sent a mass email out just now.  It'll crash 4 times, then shut down. ; When restarted it works fine. I'm toying with either upgrading to the "i" beta, or downgrading as the "i" fix log does not show anything related.

Well, I upgraded anyway to 3.8i-1 (after making a second backup to my backup) And had the client run another check on the mass emailing. This one went through without difficulties. So while I'll watch it like a coiled spring, it seems to be okay.
