I am setting up an smsgateway on a win98 box and have a few
questions;

1.  Does the GSM Modem need to be connected & configured
in order for 
sms-gate to run in the explorer interface?

2. In the logfile I am getting the following error (what
does this 
mean)......

Error: svc: not running as a service
