Hi

The display of templates and or messages with multiple
international
character sets is certainly one of the weakest points of the
current
webmail. Although generally it most cases it should
"pretty much work".

The list and item pages of messages use an obscure
combination of parameters
to decide on a META tag in the web page to tell the browser
which character
set to use. Mostly based on which character set the message
headers say the
message is encoded in. This will indeed override the
character set that is
associated with the login language. This however should not
remain"sticky"
at all and as soon as you select another message / delete
the message in
question it should display the page based on the logged in
character set.
