It appears that when I installed the special Surgemail build on our
server, something broke on the DLIST. Here is the email we got on
one of the lists. I had three others that I didn't bother to read
while I was rebuilding my workstation (don't ask) and they are not
available for confirmation.
Can you have a look at this and give us a fix? If I read this
literally, it is saying that moderators now MUST be members of the
list.
The ONLY thing that was changed, was the Surgemail install which reflects
"3.8j-8"
I have verified that the two email addresses listed in the message
ARE the moderators.
In looking at lists.dat I see there is no access_get entry for ANY list.
Help. I expect to get some calls here if this causes any other
problems beyond the periodic DLIST: Command processing log.
Come to think of it, why did this log trigger in the first place on June
17th? What caused the "get" command, if that is what is
being reflected here?

Sorry, that information is not available to you
(jbrewer webserviceswest.com,cdorsey colormyweb.com) set access_get
in
lists.dat
Reason: jbrewer webserviceswest.com,cdorsey colormyweb.com is not a
member
of the list (pressrelease)

The problem appears to be that the user is sending with a from address
of webserviceswest.com,cdorsey colormyweb.com">"jbrewer webserviceswest.com,cdorsey colormyweb.com" e.g. their from
field contains 'two' email addresses, not one. fix this in the email
client and then it should work.
If I'm horribly wrong (quite possible) then capture the dlist.log as it
processes this message and if possible capture the actual message being
sent to dlist (cc it to another address) so we can examine the full
headers and see what it's sending.
