With that in mind:

Will the calendar features support import/export/serving of
.ics files
in the near future?

Could WebDAV support be added to the Filestore/Photos
feature?

SurgePlus could be so much more to so many more people with
both of those. Given that Mac OS X will ship with a
calendar
server in 10.5 and both Vista and OSX 10.x support
connecting via
WebDAV natively SurgePlus would be positioned very well to
take
advantage of that.

The majority of our users are Mac users, so if it could
integrate with
iCal and the Finder (and Apple Mail by extension) they'd be
extremely
happy, and we'd be able to market an extremely integrated
service.

Or is this not the direction that SurgeMail will be heading
any time
soon? I'm new here, and though I've gone through the
archives a bit
it's hard to judge.

Oh, and hi.

(Hi Warren, Hi Aaron)

cheers,
Richard

Not in the near future no.

Again not in the near future.

I'm defining near future as the next 3 months.

We are certainly thinking about this, but have not decided
on any
definite direction to go in, and we generally won't tell you
what we
decide until after we've implemented it as we think
vapourware is
irresponsible, and since a project could be cancelled after
12 months of
work telling you what we are 'working' on would be
misleading.

Your suggestions are most welcome and are certainly
considered at length
even if we aren't really able to give you a definite yes/no
answer .
