I’m receiving e-mails from a state agency that
recently started to contain a “referencesR21; header property:
Date: Wed, 27 JUN 2007 16:27:52 -0500
X-Mailer: Groupwise 6.5
References:
<!&!AAAAAAAAAAAYAAAAAAAAAFBjwAI4q9cRuzoAUNorNdXCgAAAEAAAACI8Qbtdr6xOo0n3mgL
a5kQBAAAAAA== emailaddress.com">a5kQBAAAAAA== emailaddress.com>
99% of the time, the message breaks up after this and is
garbled to the recipient because it is seeing emailaddress.com">a5kQBAAAAAA== emailaddress.com
part of the “referencesR21; header information, tries to turn it into
an e-mail address link.
I have never heard of the “referencesR21; header so
I looked it up and it has to do with newsgroup feeds identifying if it is part
of a thread, etc.
Is there any way to filter this “ReferencesR21;
header out of messages, or a Mail Client setting to ignore it?
