As well as what Marijn is telling you to do try checking
your browsers
settings. Experience has shown me that the browsers long
term caching will
interfere with webmail and that spyware and toolbars will
also interfere.
I've found...
Google Toolbar was responsible for causing one users problem
of the same
message being sent multiple times to the recipient.
The browsers Form caching and password caching can result in
the symptoms
you've described as well as "old" and
"deleted" messages suddenly
re-appearing.
The browsers general cache if set to high can result in
strange symptoms.
In all cases - if the problem was in fact browser related -
the problems
would go away if the user switched computers. So, perhaps
the fastest way
is to test if the symptom comes up again with the user on
another computer.
Either way I point all of my users to a document that I
created that helps
them configure Internet Explorer to bypass/prevent these
problems. You can
access it at http://avas.cnc.bc.ca/
ie.shtml
Good luck.
