We have been running surgemail in a mirrored setup for about
3-4 years
now with great results. We only have 4000 accounts spread
over 460
domains setup so I guess this can be seen as a small setup.
We are due to take on a contract which will have 1.3
millions
registered users spread over 45 domains although it is
suspected that
only half of these are active (numbers will be confirmed),
can you
guys please recommend the best setup for this.
Machine specs?
Split the webmail to one server and still have 2 pop/imap
server
mirrored or have 2 webmail boxes and 2 pop/imap boxes
I have never setup a clustered environment before so any
advice would
be a great help. The OS will be Debian Etch.
