SurgeMail Version 3.8r-12

Platform Windows Server 2003 Std US English





g_from_exact true does not work with aliases from an email client.
There is no problem when using web mail.




To reproduce:

1. Change the from address to the alias address

2. Change the email address in Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings to the
alias address



SurgeMail refuses the mail with the following error message: 

"Sorry from is not for local domain or auth user didn't match
(<alias address here>) (g_from_exact true g_from_relay true)"



I have tested with both Microsoft Outlook 2003 and Mozilla Thunderbird.
