Someone tell me if this sounds about right.

If one of our clients at comcast.net happens to have their
account on
our server under surgemail set to forward to their
comcast.net site
and are not using the anti spam setting on our server I am
guessing
all the spam going to this email address will get sent right
on to
their account at comcast.net.

If there is enough of it we get tagged as the spammer by
comcast.net
because they are comming through this account on our
server.

Today one of our clients said they could not SEND email to a

comcast.net account. When I did a bit of a search through
Saturday's
messages targeting comcast.net accounts, most of what I
found were
our own clients who were the recipients of their own info
account on
our server. Of course this account is listed on their
webpage which
is likely how the spammers are even finding the address.

In other cases I am not sure how this is happening because
the
comcast.net address is the address in the mailto link. If
someone
clicks on that (or it is done by some bot) it shouldn't come
through
our server. It may be in this case they have just found an
"info"
account that goes somewhere and are using it.

Comcast kept adding us to their Blacklist.  I found about 9 users that were forwarding to comcast, informed them of the issue and they stopped forwarding.  We haven't been listed since.

I believe it was also because they weren't spam filtering.  comcast listed us as the offending server because we were the last ones who sent it.
