Could I get a clarification on this error message in the log
for failed
deliveries?
"SPF - dns timeout, to fix send an email to ..."
Does this imply that my assigned DNS servers are timing out
on DNS
lookups, and if so, any suggestions on which setting to
change and what
levels are safe?
I suspect that "g_spf_dns_timeout" is what I want.
It suggests 10 or 20
seconds, what is the default?
Also, I think there's a bug in the Status screen that I've
now seen
across two platforms, FreeBSD and Mac OSX:
"[DNS] Ok(avge) Bad(avge)
AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD: 1(3.0s) 21(1.1s)"
Why is the bad average better than the good average?
Could we get that modified to show min/avg/max?
Thanks,
Russ
