I look at the Webmail help and PGP is listed at the bottom of Advanced Options, but when I look in my Webmail client … it is not there.

Is this a server setup option that we did not activate? What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Dave

Webmail is PGP ready but PGP is not actually distributed with webmail.

I'm not even sure on the exact process of installing and enabling it. Basically you need to get the appropriate version of PGP for your platform, compile it and and then setup the webmail options to use the pgp binary. The developer who wrote the integration, is no longer with netwin. I have been meaning to figure out myself  how to get it running but other things keep having higher priority :-(

If anyone actually has it running I'd be interested to hear from them, else it is a case of checking pgp documentation / webmail pgp documentation and seeing if you can get it operational yourself.

We set it up a long time ago. I never understood how to
actually use it though as you can't upload your private key.
You can only generate a new one that is used through
webmail... and the public key is not uploaded to any public
PGP directory server either. So I'm not sure how to leverage
it. But you need gnupg... That's what we used to get it
going. Maybe we didn't do it right.
