Mark,

You can use any of these authentication modules or create
your own...
http
://netwinsite.com/surgemail/help/authent.htm

The quick answer is surgemail will use your mysql if you
configure it to do
so.

let me reword my question. Does surgemail have to create the
account or can
a third party program create it in the database and
surgemail use it.

Yes, third party applications can create accounts directly.
If you do so you
may want to make sure that all the correct fields get set in
the
authentication database when you do so. A variety of ways to
create accounts
are:

Database direct using whatever application you want
Netwin authentication module on the command line
Surgemail "tellmail add_user"
Using http posts to the admin / domain admin interface
Browser access to admin / domain admin interface

Issue SPF Allow for certain domains

Customers are being protected by the Friends system, however many spams & scams originate from Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo.
For those three domains, I don't want the Pending message held in the Friends Pending Folder, I want the unverified senders to be sent to the web page where they have to type in numbers instead.
My alternative is to reject all emails from those 3 domains - for senders who are not already on the customers Friends Whitelists.
AAArrrrgggghhh

g_spf_noallow doesn't do this, Is there a setting that will? ; What will resolve this situation?
