Thanks. The staff member is using Webmail. I see where
received messages can be marked or unmarked as read. But,
there is no way to change the priority on received email.
I
don't think he was referring to email he composed.

Most email clients have a priority flag option. For
instance, I'm using Thunderbird, and it has a priority
option under the "Options" menu. I'm flagging
this
particular message as highest priority, just for kicks.
Most clients also let you alter the 'read' or 'unread'
status by clicking the column in your message list.
