Hi,

I don't know.  I never thought of it.  There would have to
be some way to limit access so users couldn't peek at
others
archived email.

No sorry there is no facility for end users to access the
archiving feature. 
If you truly wanted certain combinations of messages
browsable by end users 
I would recommend say a daily cronjob that extracts relevant
messages into a 
dedicated email account for browsing using an email client.

And yes, very recently (not in the latest beta yet) the
g_archive page has 
been updated to be a bit more user friendly and work in a
few more 
browsers...
