If you have set g_footer_sendonly this to true then it will
only attach the
footer when outbound mail is sent.

Check the g_footer_sendonly setting.

g_footer_sendonly is NOT set, but this is still happening
(sending footers
only to external servers).

Any ideas on correcting this?

only attach the

A bug? Or two. or Three?
country flaguser name

I recently discovered that if an email account is set up as
the/a
domain manager under surgemail and the user uses the wemail
to log in
and change or view the friends setup or pending list the
user will be
presented the domain for which they are the domain manager
rather
than their own account or even their own domain. This is
NOT through
the user cgi connection, just the regular webmail login.

Secondly, while browsing the Friends list in one of my
accounts I
discovered duplicate email addresses. In one case it
appears the
email matching is done on a case sensitive basis. I think
it would
be better to first convert all uppercase to lowercase before
doing
the match to see if the address is already in the list. I
suspect
that incoming email matching may suffer from the same
oversight.

Thirdly. Unless I am missing something there is no
automatic means
of purging old challenged messages in the Friends
"pending"
folder. I had no clue about this and recently discovered
over 3,000
messages in one account. This makes Friends no more of a
help than
the Held folder. If a challeng has been sent out and no one
has
responded to it within a reasonable time I think it should
be
dumped. Our clients almost never check their held boxes so
I am
fairly certain they are never going to check this friends
pending
folder. Granted some of this could be "real"
e-mail but all I have
looked at so far was just plain junk.

Thanks for reporting these, I'll check through them all, I
am almost sure the last one is actually just
that it cleans them out at 'odd' times. But I'll double
check it as well.
