I'm not sure, we have that warning because freebsd has had a
history of issues that caused problems for our customers,
so we feel it's only honest to warn customers in advance
that for some reason the chances of 'odd' problems is higher
on
freebsd. Even if the cause might really be simply our lack
of expertise on that platform and not a fault with the
platform itself it still translates to a real risk to
customers.

I will admit the number of issues has decreased and the
worst bugs in freebsd 4.x were indeed sorted out, and if we
can
resolve the last issue that's bugging me this week (a slow
memory leak that seems aparently to be coming from inside
the STDIO file handling in freebsd) then I might give in and
remove that warning entirely

re: FreeBSD 7 -- Yes, it's looking good so far so I'm
hopeful it will not have any issues.
