Actually, the Friends system is a good one, as a white list.
The
white-list is a GOOD thing. I don't know of anyone who
objects to
that.
I'd like to see Friends broken up into its two major
components: a
white list and the challenge response system.
Here we have Jim wanting to disable "Friends" when
I'm reasonably
certain he only wants to disable the challenge/response
system, not
the white list.
