Hello: I have read both on the web-empowered church forum
(WEC) that offers an install version 4.1.1 of Typo3 (which I
used to install on debian/linux - think it's both, not
sure?), and here at the Typo3 forum. There is a lot written
about various scenarios for Fatal Error: Memory Allocation -
Here is mine at www.sfsro.com/blogs/typo3
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted
(tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in
/sites/sfsro.com/htdocs/blogs/t3lib/class.t3lib_tceforms.php
on line 834
I did contact my host provider but have not heard back. In
the meantime, I tried what the forums suggested but in
following a previous Typo3 forum suggestion:
..."Anyway, you can try to avoide this problem by using
the TYPO3 install
tool, section "all configuration" and set the
memory_limit to 64 (the ...."
I did locate this command, and the backend of the install
does tell me to copy/paste the code in the proper $var file,
but I cannot locate this file anywhere, even looking through
all of them manually.
Also, another suggestion says to place something line
(excuse the syntax it is not in front of me)
{memory_limit=40} on the first line of the localconfig.php
file in the Typo3 root section. I tried this (placing the
proper syntax BEFORE the start of <php coding>...but
it did nothing to change the several FATAL error memory
warnings.
Okay, thanks for any advice. I hope to hear from someone.
thanks. CF
