1-2-3 database setup problem

Hi,

just trying to install 4.1.2 using 1-2-3 I have created a
new empty 
MySDQL database, but the install tool doesn't show it in the
scroll box. 
The only item is information_schema.

User name, password is OK, works with WEBMIN and PHPMYADMIN.
Also, 
database listed as empty. System is a production environment
runneng 
several PHP/MYSQL applications with no problem.

Any idea to proceed?

Did you check this with the same MySQL user in phpMyAdmin
and TYPO3? I
believe they have different permissions...
