used nikkor 70-300mm

Hey gang, would like your opinion on a used Nikkor 70-300mm
AF lens, they  
give me one year warranty and the price is $130 plus taxes.
Any thoughts? This  
is through my local camera store.

They should let you hang it on your camera and take a shot
or two . 
Try that and check it out on your PC [ laptop in your
vehicle if you 
have 1 of those] That should give you a better idea of how
good it 
is . say 300mm f 5.6 and 8 and 11 should be the best results
at the 
worst focal length.

Will they let you try the lens on the camera before you buy.
 If so, 
take your camera in and try it out.  They should let you put
it on 
the camera, and take some shots around the shop, and maybe
outside 
the shop as well.
