You're a cruel man

Does anyone remember Canon's eye focusing technology, the focus point
switched to whatever point you were looking at. Now just suppose you told all of
them the D50 has it but they have to concentrate real hard to make it work

Andy

If you really want to up the ante, tell them it DOES have a B&W
setting (Andy's right, it doesn't), tell them you've turned it on
before but just can't find where to set it! Then ask them to help!

That should be good for quite a long session of laughing inside while
maintaining a convincing perplexed look.

(I'm grinning just thinking about how evil that would be!)

In a related matter, while they're hopelessly browsing through the
menus ask them to please turn back on the ability to compose pictures
while looking at the rear screen!

(And for anyone who seriously wants to know how to do this, the camera
does NOT support this either!)

Anyone else have any D-50 related cruel mind games to suggest?

Enjoy your class, we would all love to see some pictures!
