My remark was somewhat tongue in cheek.

Our heat + floods are related. We had near record snowfall in the
mountains, and record cool temperatures for the month of April. Now with
a brief spike in temperature the snow pack is all melting and creating
minor flooding in the glacier fed rivers....which is all of our rivers in
these parts. If this is global warming, I can't imagine what the next
ice age will bring.
[Gosh, did I say that out loud? I guess that makes me a heretic.]
