Not so strange, it's actually 1080p (the HDTV standard, 1920x1080)
stretched to the computing world's preferred 16:10 ratio instead of HD's
16:9 (which is how you get from 1080 to 1200).

Very useful for editing HD video, as you get to see every pixel of the
stream.

Thank you to everyone for their help. Definitely resolved the distortion issue. Anyone have any luck running Nikon view or Picture project on Vista?
