Speed crown now in in Nikon yard... Canon has nothing to do 11fps at 12Mpx.
So, stop worry about speed.

Neither does Nikon. The D3 is only 9fps at full-rez. 11fps is only in 5:4 and DX crop modes (10MP or 5.5MP) with no AE or AF (10fps if you want AF).
But it does outdo the 1DmIII in most respects for the same money.
