Of my 45+ years doing 35mm or digital photography, less than 10 have
been digital, and less than 4 have been Nikon DX. My most-used lens
in 35mm was the WONDERFUL 50mm f/1.4. I owned, at various times, a
28mm and a 24mm Nikkor lens, but hardly ever used them. Personally,
I have almost always found medium and longer telephoto to be more
helpful to me than wide-angle.
