oops.  154 as of this morning, i guess i wasn't paying
attention.  note
that the list is open, and the subscriber list is open to
those who are
subscribed.  this isn't a vetted insider-only kind of
mailing list like
OARC would normally run, it's a public service side-effect
kind of thing.
