junk stopped working

All,

Hope someone can help.  Junk filtering stopped working a
week ago.  It
had been working for a long time, and the two check boxes on
the Junk
panel in Mail Preferences are checked.

Is there a spamassassin job that I can check to make sure is
running?  

Any ideas what check?

I'm running Mandriva 2006.0.  Here are the packages I have
installed:
libevolution-data-server4-1.2.3-7mdk
evolution-2.2.3-10mdk
evolution-data-server-1.2.3-7mdk
spamassassin-3.0.4-3.2.20060mdk

You should see one or more 'spamd' processes.
