Ballot Closes Today for 2006 Board and TAB Election
OASIS encourages members to participate in selecting the
leaders who
will hold a seat on the OASIS Board of Directors and
Technical Advisory
Board (TAB) until 2008. The ballot closes today, 26 June.

DITA XML.org Gauges Specialization Efforts
A new poll is underway at DITA XML.org to determine the
extent of
specialization plans within the DITA community. The web site
provides an
open information resource for the DITA OASIS Standard, which
defines an
XML architecture for designing, writing, managing, and
publishing many
kinds of information in print and on the Web. DITA
developers are
encouraged to participate in this new poll.
