Review UIMA Proposal
A charter has been submitted to form an OASIS Committee to
advance the
Unstructured Information Management Architecture (UIMA). The
proposed scope of
work is to produce a platform-independent specification in
support of the
interoperability, discovery, and composition of analytics
across modalities,
domain models, frameworks, and platforms. All OASIS members
are welcome to post
comments on this charter; comments posted by 24 September
will be addressed by
the Committee proposers. Archives of the comment list are
publicly accessible.

Public Review of WS-BPEL v2.0 Begins
The OASIS Web Services Business Process Execution Language
(WSBPEL) TC
has approved WS-BPEL version 2.0 as a Committee Draft and
approved the package
for public review. The public review ends 09 November.
