"ocaml_beginners"::[] Which functions are thread_safe?

Hi all,

I'm wondering how to determine if a function from the core or standard
library is thread safe or not. From what I heard String is not thread
safe.

Is output_string from Pervasives thread_safe or do I have to
serialize it if I apend to the same file in various threads using
output_string?
