OX Documents File System

I apologise if I have missed something in my quick review of
the changes
document but are OX documents still stored in var/filespool?

Ideally we would like them stored in the server file system
so we can
share them using a standard samba share. Is this possible
yet? If not,
is it on the cards for the future?

I'm not too sure WebDAV access (with all OCLs stored in the
RDBMS) and
file system access (with all POSIX ACLs in the filesystem)
can
peacefully coexist -- besides the latter not being
implemented AFAIK.
