Hmm weird when I installed mine the installer does copy the
file to
the i partition.
But I had other hiccup, the i partition was NOT formatted
by
newfs_msdos the first attempt and I had to reboot into a
shell,
manually format the partition then did a clean
re-installation.
But yea I like to see this improve as well.
