CD41.iso exact use, requirements, etc.

Hello,
I apologize in advance for the fact that this is a very
newbish
question.
I just started thinking about putting OpenBSD on my G4
(Flat Panel)
iMac.
(It's my main machine and has lots of important data on it,
if you
must know why).
I've installed it on various i386 machines before, and been
very happy.
I downloaded all the files for the ppc install, and was
surprised to
find an iso was included.
However, the INSTALL file isn't entirely clear (to me,
although I'm
likely missing something)
on what it does. It says,
A miniroot filesystem image suitable to be used
as a bootable CD-ROM image; otherwise similar to
			the bsd.rd image above.
So my question is this: What is the exact purpose of the CD
I would
make from this?
Is it somewhat like a linux livecd, in that I boot it up and
it runs
OpenBSD
(if yes - is it command line only, or does it include X,
etc..)?
Do I need anything besides the CD to run it? Is there any
danger to
my files?

Thanks,
Steve
