To all,

As mentioned previously, OPAL development will be moving
to a new
project after the upcoming Deimos release. Thus, it makes
sense for
developers to join the new mailing lists *now* so that you
do not miss
out

The new mailing lists are hosted on SourceForge, and can
be found
using the Mailing List link at http://www.opalvoip.org.
The new mailing
lists are:

opalvoip-announce Low volume list intended for
announcements

    opalvoip-devel Discussions relating to OpalVoip
development

    opalvoip-user Discussions relating to OpalVoip
user questions

opalvoip-svn Receives notification of every SVN
change

sip using tcp instead of udp
user name
2007-10-17 19:27:03
Hello, I would like to try the opal sip stack using tcp
sockets instead of udp ones.

I start the sip listener using a string that looks like
"tcp$*:5061", and the opal endpoint star listening
on that port and in a tcp socket, but when I register to
openser, for example, It goes through an udp socket, then
the registration fails. How can I force the outgoing packet
to use the tcp transport.

Thank you
Martin

SIP over TCP is scheduled to be worked on after the next
stable release,
which is due in the next few days.
