Hi Simon and Robert,

Thanks for reply.

I want to know one thing that I have to put these dlls in directory where application files exist like C:programm Filesxyz  and application will get the codec from that Directory at run time?
OR
I have to give the path of these dlls in the configure application before compiling the OPAL?
OR
I have to give the path of these dlls in the configure application before compiling the OPAL and also have to put these dlls in the directory C:programm Filesxyz  of application where all other files exist?

I recommend you not use the EasyCodec G.723.1 codec (which I first contributed some years back) it has a rather nasty singleton in the library which results in a segfault if you run two or more instances of your application. The Free version also has unfortunate time limit on calls which results in the codec shutting down while in the middle of a call. Although not clearly licenced the ACMG7231_PWPLUGIN.dll works just fine and I have been using it with pacphone for almost 2 years without compliant. There is a very similar plugin for opal.

Also be aware that when running applications as a service like with OpenMCU that codecs DO NOT load from the application directory and you should expressly indicate the directory for the plugins to be loaded from.

Drop the DLL in the same directory as the application or in the c:pwlib_plugins directory.

You might consider using the EasyCodec G.723.1 codec (in ....opalpluginsaudioEasyCodec) as it has a clearer license.

Hi Simon and All Voip Community,

I have the ACMG7231_PWPLUGIN.DLL. But don't know how can it be enabled in OPAL 2.2.4 to use it in my application.

Any help or guide line will be appreciated........?

Waiting for reply......

Jaffar
