New text sizing behavior in 4.0

Hi all,

It looks like text sizing behavior has changed in 4.0.

If you don't set resize="true" on a text field, it
will still resize.
There's no clipping for text fields any more.

Is this intentional? Do we have a write-up of the new
expected behavior?

Thanks,

Antun

We just changed the default. Set resize="false"
if you want it not
to resize.

(This seemed to be a source of unending confusion, so we
changed the
default. Perhaps the doc did not get updated?)

I'll file a task to correct the docs and put it in the
release notes
for next release.
